How to Give Your Boss Feedback

It may seem easy to give feedback to a boss when your boss is easy going and "open minded."  But not everyone has that boss.  Communicating with more challenging bosses requires success in managing up.  There are many good articles on this topic.  A recent blog written by Amy Gallo provides solid advice on how to give your boss feedback, including: do "Be certain your boss is open and receptive to feedback before speaking up" and don't "Assume your boss doesn't want feedback if she doesn't request it — ask if she would like to hear your insight."
